EmpowerWomen Volunteer is a website dedicated to empowering women through volunteer opportunities. This is a list of  organizations, domestic and international, that are working to serve women's communities through social/political/financial/healthcare initiatives. It is by no means comprehensive and but it's a great way to get started. Many of these organizations offer several different ways to get involved; whether it's donating money, time, or expertise, I believe that everyone has something positive to contribute.
